Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Oversee hazelnut harvest crew [undergradaute students], harvest by hand 10%
Assist with fall transplanting of seedlings by hand - 20%
Collect data on plant size, growth habit, disease intensity 10%
Oversee nut processing and collection of data on nut yield and quality - 20%
Plant seeds in the greenhouse and managet the greenhouse, including water daily during the winter and spring; transplant seedlings to larger pots in ealry summer and
managet outdoor nursery - 10%
Control weeds in the field plantings - 20%
Collect leaf and soil samples and prepare for the lab 5%
Keep records of activities and inventories of plant material 5%

Essential Qualifications: - High school graduate/GED and two years of related education and/or experience
Preferred Qualifications: - experience working in field research - supervision experience
