Job Description - The Financial Coordinator will be asked to perform independent projects, lead in preparing and analyzing research summaries and correspondence, contribute to effective planning and decision making, coordinate research-specific workflow, and execute assigned and self-identified tasks in support of the faculty research agendas. The Financial Coordinator pro-actively monitors critical phases of important projects, performs grant and gift-specific budgeting and accounting, organizes the two researcherâ™s schedules, and manages various additional tasks. This individual provides logistical support for programs, instructors, research teams and courses.
Bachelorâ™s degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience as a program coordinator highly desirable.
Experience in a higher education or non-profit setting highly desirable.
Experience in event coordination and academic programming highly desirable.
Exceptional writing skills, ability to synthesize research outcomes into deliverable summaries.
