Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Enrollment: Advising and Assessment, the Talent Hub Coordinator (Senior Special Programs Coordinator-Lumina Grant) oversees a variety of Lumina funded, Talent Hub initiatives and works with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement and assess various components of the grant work plan in support of the College's student success and completion agenda.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and coordination for the Talent Hub grant including regular team meetings;
Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to fully implement recruitment, enrollment, advising and completion activities including the development and implementation of guided pathways for transfer and reverse transfer initiatives;
Collaborates with faculty and staff to support curriculum alignment between BHCC and transfer institutions to facilitate transfer.
Assists with the analysis of retention and persistence patterns and other relevant data to promote equitable outcomes for students;
Collaborates to develop and implement initiatives designed to engage students who have left college prior to completion;
Monitors and reports on progress regarding Tuition Free Community College and Commonwealth Commitment initiatives;
Provides support and training for Success Boston non-profit coaches at Bunker Hill Community College
Collects and maintains accurate data and completes annual and status reports;
Other duties as assigned or directed by Associate Dean;
Serves on committees, advisory councils as needed or assigned.
Master's degree in Education, Counseling Psychology or a closely related field.
Three or more years of experience and or training in college admissions, academic or transfer advising, career development or program/project management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Demonstrated commitment to a student centered advising environment.
Cultural awareness and competency demonstrated by working with and/or understanding of individuals of diverse identities including socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity and veterans status as well as those with different levels of academic preparation and varying physical and learning abilities.
Competent in MS Word, Powerpoint.
Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience supporting long term projects
Supervisory experience; ideally in a college setting
Experience teaching in a college setting
Salary Range: $54,956.00-$57,330.00. Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full state Benefits.
