Reporting to the Executive Director of Liberty Hall, the Coordinator of Museum Programs is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Museum and for the development of all special event programming, including planning, implementing and evaluating all public events, as well as training and coordinating museum program related volunteers. The Coordinator also maintains and updates the social media footprint for the museum; maintains the museum’s Vendini reservation system; and performs related work as required. This position requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and one year of professional experience working at a historic house or in a museum setting is required. Experience scheduling museum events and activities is preferred. Candidate must have knowledge of and the ability to use social media outlets and websites for Museum information, marketing and publicity and possess strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent customer service skills and oral and written communication skills are essential.
