As the University's lead auditor, the Director of Internal Audit provides internal, independent analyses, recommendations and audit services to the Audit Subcommittee of the Board of Trustees and to University management to help minimize the University's exposure to risk, while enhancing business practices and service quality to the University.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; certification as a CIA and/or CPA; and a minimum of eight years of experience in commensurate field. CRMA and CISA certifications are preferred.
Strong analytical abilities. Strong interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work at all levels with administrators and staff in a diverse university environment. Working knowledge of PC-based financial systems, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
