Division of Sports Medicine is looking to hire an Assistant Professor of Health Programs, Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. Duties will be devoted to a combination of clinical activities including multidisciplinary assessments, interventions, research, and development of clinical programs. Requirement of this position also include teaching and supervision of medical students, Residents, and Fellows in clinical setting as well as special assignments made by the Chair of the Division. Provide clinical care to community patients. Duties will include hospital call.
A DO/MD degree and be Board Certified/Eligible in speciality.
The successful candidate should have prior experience in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery, preferably Fellowship trained. Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills. Demonstrate leadership ability. Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient and staff needs. Ability to manage time and stress effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
