The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a part-time Program Coordinator in our Accessibility Resources department, beginning Fall 2019. UC Blue Ash is the largest regional college in Ohio and one of the largest colleges at the University of Cincinnati. We are an open access college and offer primarily associate degrees with an enrollment of approximately 5100 students.
Employee will work 20 hours per week during the academic year (fall/spring) and off during summer semester.
Duties and Responsibilities: ·Conduct student academic plan intake. ·Have ongoing meetings with student to monitor academic plans towards success. ·Monitor quantitative and qualitative data from various databases progress toward objectives. ·Teach students self-advocacy skills so they can effectively communicate with faculty, staff, and peers. ·Collect, analyze, and report on student cohort performance at the end of each semester. This may entail developing, administering, and analyzing questionnaires, grades, and
other anecdotal information. Compile statistics and prepare reports. ·Facilitate and proctor exams which may include printing, requesting, administering, monitoring, securing, and returning test per professor instructions. ·Oversee front desk responsibilities which could include answering phones, speaking to and servicing walk ins, taking messages, and filing.
·Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- five (5) years experience.
Ideal Qualifications: Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Experience working with individuals with a disability.
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
