Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate computer science including introductory CS courses for majors and non-majors, a discussion-based course on ethics and technology, Data Structures (with Java), and upper-level undergraduate electives, preferably in the Systems area; contributing to other courses that support the computer science curriculum; and sharing in the governance and advancement of the computer science program.
The University of Minnesota Morris, Division of Science and Mathematics, seeks a full-time, multi-year, possibly renewable, position in Computer Science beginning August 19, 2019. The qualifications are as follows:
Candidates must have a master’s degree in computer science, or a closely related field by August 19, 2019. Ph.D. is preferred. Experience teaching undergraduate computer science is required. (Graduate TA experience is acceptable).
