As the clinical arm of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, SLUCare exists to improve the lives of all we serve by exploring and expanding medical knowledge, providing an exceptional patient experience, and adhering to the Jesuit tradition of meeting the needs of the whole person. Informed Medicine is not just an advertising slogan; it is the unique way we, at SLUCare, practice medicine.
Under general supervision, Medical Assistants provide clinical office support in both the front office (greet patients, schedule appointment, check-in/out functions, test scheduling and obtain pre-certs/referrals) and the back office (room patients, perform vitals, assist with patient exam and/or procedures, etc.). These roles are critical to delivering exceptional patient care.
