The Gordon Ford College of Business is AACSB accredited in both business and accounting. Of the 2,000+ students enrolled in the college, over 300 are accounting majors. The Accounting Department offers Baccalaureate and Master of Accountancy programs.
Western Kentucky University invites applications for multiple tenure track positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in the Accounting Department of the Gordon Ford College of Business. Employment begins Fall 2020 or earlier. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching, research, and service activities that support the goals of the department, college, and university. The normal teaching load is nine hours per semester.
Qualifications include an earned doctorate with an emphasis in Accounting from an AACSB accredited US institution. ABDs near completion and graduates from the AACSB Bridge Program Accounting Track may also be considered. The successful candidate should demonstrate potential for quality teaching, research, and service activities. Additional consideration will be given to applicants with professional certifications and specializations in auditing. Compensation is competitive and subject to the applicant's qualifications.
