The University of Iowa College of Nursing seeks applicants for open rank tenure-track or tenured faculty positions to begin in academic year 2017-2018 (opportunity for Spring 2017 in some areas). Areas of research excellence in the College of Nursing include gerontology, health systems improvement and pain, palliative care and symptom management. Emerging areas of emphasis include management of chronic conditions and health promotion in at-risk populations. Cross cutting approaches include applied genomics/omics/biomarkers, health information technology and community engagement.
