Advertised Job Summary:
The Clinical Laboratory Animal Veterinarian for the Department of Laboratory Animal Resources reports to the University Veterinarian and is responsible for assisting with activities related to the comprehensive care and management of laboratory animals, conducting IACUC protocol review, serving as the University Veterinarian's alternate on the IACUC, providing veterinary expertise for research activities, assisting with the maintenance of regulatory compliance and accreditation standards, teaching in an appropriate academic area, and performing on-call duties after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Required qualifications include DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited school or college, Board Certification or eligibility by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM).
