Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations and Gifts, this position is responsible for processing gifts and payments, donor receipts, and updating and maintaining the Raiser\u2019s Edge database used by the Montefiore Einstein Office of Development. This position has significant responsibilities in the areas of data and gift entry to ensure that all cash gifts, stock donations, and pledges payments are accurately recorded in the database.
Coordinates all duties relative to entering, reviewing, submitting donations to the Raiser\u2019s Edge database, including but not limited to the following:
Data entry for gifts and pledge payments.
Produce tax receipts.
Maintains the accuracy and integrity of donor information.
Documents and updates database policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
Work with Financial Services staff to ensure reconciliation of gifts and pledges
Oversee receipt production and insure that they are produced in a timely manner. Review all documents for proper formatting prior to mailing.
Review all contributions processed, daily, for accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards identified in departmental materials.
Diagnose data integrity issues and assist with clean-up projects.
Use queries to produce reports of data needing clean-up and the regular follow-up reports to maintain the data in a \u201cclean\u201d state.
Assist in the creation and editing of campaign, fund and appeal codes for the Raiser\u2019s Edge
Update existing forms as needed.
Coordinate event gift and data processing.
Understand and perform key database functions and serve as an approachable resident expert for the user community.
Support the accounting process by assisting with reconciliation exercises and researching unidentified gift receipts.
Assist with general correspondence to donors.
Assist with routine departmental business as needed.
Assist with the implementation and monitoring of future departmental activities.
