Rutgers Institute for Translational Medicine and Science is pleased to announce the opening of a non-tenured research track faculty position in the broadly defined field of cellular and molecular biology. A Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D is preferred but not required, academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
We're seeking a candidate with a background in biomedical research, an outstanding record of achievement and experience in using cutting-edge bioengineering technology to study problems in the areas of pulmonology, developmental biology, cancer biology, or related fields. The successful applicant will receive competitive start-up package and laboratory space in anticipation of development of prominent extramurally-funded research program.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree, outstanding academic credentials and a track record of research accomplishment. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the mission of the institute by establishing a prominent, externally funded research program that is focused on the prevention or curing of disease.

To have a successful history of funding
To develop and maintain additional collaborative research programs
To support his/her research programs through external funding
To observe Rutgers Institute for Translational Medicine and Science and Rutgers University policies
To possess the following expertise and/or technical skills: 'Omics' research experience, single cell physiological measurements, bioengineering experience, in silica analysis of protein expression, and phosphoproteomics experience.
