The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an interventional nephrologist/clinician/researcher with primarily clinical responsibilities in two overlapping clinical fields—dialysis and interventional nephrology, and will also serve in a supervisory role with trainees, including fellows and medical residents. Interventional nephrology duties include, but are not limited to, angioplasty of and stent and coil placement in vessels associated with dialysis access, dialysis access thrombectomy and tunneled dialysis catheter placement. Clinical duties include dialysis, hospital service and consult as well as outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Interventional nephrology duties and dialysis experience is required. Experience in leadership role is highly desired.
