The East Carolina Athletics Football Department is hiring for a temporary Assistant to the Director of Recruiting/Player Personnel. The Assistant to the Director of Recruiting/Player Personnel position is a primary aid to the coaching staff. This position reports to the Director of Recruiting/Player Personnel. The position will provide various duties in analysis, quality control, administrative, and organizational capacities.
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the below: - Oversee the recruiting big board while ensuring all information is accurate and up to date - Assist in the accuracy of the information in recruiting database - Create recruiting resources and positional breakdown books for coaches - Develop academic game plans for at risk PSA's - Prelim transcript evaluation - Assist in the collection of all compliance paperwork for PSA recruiting process - Communicate weekly academic updates on PSA's and committed athletes - Build weekly breakdowns on PSA's high school statistics for coach's review - Facilitate logistical needs for recruiting i.e. itineraries for official and unofficial visits - Prepare background information on PSA's for coach's review - Assist Head Coach in communication with Priority PSA's - Develop strategic travel plans for coaches during contact/evaluation periods in recruiting - Organize presentations for coaches when meeting with PSA's - Oversee weekly recruiting meeting for staff - Primary contact for committed PSA's for dissemination of university information - Assist in all aspects of recruiting process as assigned by the director of Player Personnel - Assist in the transition of PSA to signed and enrolled student athlete to East Carolina University - Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders. - Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations. - Perform other duties as assigned
