The Research Integrity Specialist provides leadership to the OHSU community in the area of integrity by independent and advanced professional performance of the following:
Timely and accurate review in accordance with regulatory, policy, and process requirements;
Serve as the functional expert on electronic systems supporting research integrity, as applicable;
Deliver specific and on-going education for staff, review committee members, and the OHSU community;
Serve as an advanced professional resource for regulatory compliance and integrity; and
Assist management and leadership to improve processes within and across integrity areas and committees.
This position will primarily work in the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The IRB oversees/manages the ethical and regulatory review and oversight of research projects involving human subjects. Projects and/or responsibilities in other integrity program areas may also be assigned.
