This position reports to the Manager, Talent Management and works closely with the Talent Management Specialist; performs duties using the online applicant tracking (OAT) system; evaluates applications for minimum qualifications; assists users so they are able to navigate the OAT system; creates/maintains electronic folders for vacancies to ensure collection of documentation for future inquiries, litigation, etc.; responsible for responding timely and courteous to a large volume of phone calls and emails; ensures records retention procedures are aligned with College requirements and maintained in an accurate, confidential and orderly manner; updates the OAT system in accordance with college organizational structure; provides training to users; administers employment matters in accordance with college policy and federal law; collaborates with outside vendor to address system problems; assists business office managers/staff with OAT functions; assists with the preparation for New Employee Orientation; works in Banner to retrieve employee information; assists in the updates for the employment section of the human resources web site and provides administrative support to the Manager, Talent Management and general office assistance for the human resources department.
Associate degree or equivalent and over two (2) years of progressively, responsible human resources, employment, records management, filing procedures or related full-time experience.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Suite, HRIS applications, copier, scanner and other office equipment.
Must pass skills assessment at the intermediate level of proficiency.
Demonstrated Excel experience and ability to enter data in spreadsheets; excellent customer service skills; prior Banner experience; demonstrated experience with an applicant tracking system.
Demonstrated skills to multi-task; ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Prior or current work experience in a Human Resources environment
