The position is responsible for supporting project objectives of grants led by the Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care as part of the School of Social Work and Buffalo Center for Social Research. This position will ensure that project objectives remain consistent with the specified requirements and goals of the project, and that they are achieved on schedule and within budget. The position also entails developing and delivering trauma-informed training curriculum, as well as project-related administrative and supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills and have the ability to work both independently and with partners throughout NYS. Position is dependent upon award of grant funding.
Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or related field; experience developing and delivering training in trauma-informed curriculum; experience working in schools and coordinating/presenting trainings on topics directly related to Trauma-Informed Care in a School environment.
Project coordination and grant management experience; experience in trauma-informed coaching and consulting; supervisory and administrative experience; experience with UB Business offices and systems.
