This position supports University Advancement goals and objectives by maintaining alumni, parent and donor records in the BANNER database, while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and timeliness. Provides back-up support for departmental mail distribution and communication list generation. Performs other functions as assigned in support of the mission of UA and Gonzaga University.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years previous data entry experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to create, navigate, organize and filter spreadsheets with large data sets.
Equally capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Keen eye for details.
Able to quickly and accurately type and enter data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretionary skills in determining when to act independently and when to consult management prior to taking action.
