The School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University has a significant national presence in health science education. In response to a changing healthcare environment, the School has assumed a leadership role in offering high quality, innovative programs at the master’s and doctoral levels and offers opportunities for collaborative research, teaching, and grantsmanship across a number of disciplines. The School of Health and Medical Sciences will be moving to a new home in 2018 as part of Seton Hall’s Interprofessional Health Sciences (IHS) Campus in Nutley/Clifton, NJ. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching on-campus and online graduate courses, conducting research, mentoring and advising graduate students, and participating on committees at the department, school, and university levels. Examples of teaching responsibilities may include courses in Health Administration & Management, Health Systems, Strategic Planning and Marketing, and Research Methods.
Qualifications for the position include a PhD in Health Administration or a closely related field and demonstrated higher education teaching experience in both traditional and online formats. Candidates with health-sector-industry management, consulting and/or applied health services research experience are preferred and strongly encouraged to apply.
