This position requires 50% effort towards running the X-ray Core and 50% effort towards associated research and/or computer maintenance responsibilities, depending on the qualifications and interests of the applicant.
Primary responsibilities of running the X-ray Core component of the position include training and assisting users on use of core instrumentation; user consultation on sample preparation, data collection and structure determination strategies; equipment maintenance; billing; and directing the work flow of the core.
