Position will be housed at Carilion Giles Community Hospital and will also support Carilion Tazwell Community Hospital. Position requires occasional travel to/from other Carilion facilities and locations.
Serves as a consultant, educator, and facilitator in the department of Education and Organizational Development. Provides instructor-led clinical training to small and large groups. Manages projects that create and implement education plans that meet desired outcomes. If selected for interview, must provide 2 samples of writing examples and come prepared to provide a 5 minute teaching demonstration.

Experience: Three years of acute care experience as an RN. Critical care preferred. Experience with teaching/presenting preferred.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Currently licensed as an RN in Virginia.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Demonstrates analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team environment. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities. Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
