The Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is seeking a biomedical scientist with expertise in the areas of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and breast cancer. The applicant must hold a PhD in biomedical engineering or related field and have experience in quantitative image analysis applied to breast MRI. Knowledge of biostatistical methods applied to medical imaging is highly desirable. The applicant will be involved in multi-center clinical trials involving quantitative imaging of treatment response in primary breast cancer (neoadjuvant trials). The candidate will be expected to demonstrate research productivity in the form of peer-reviewed publications and presentations at scientific meetings. Additional job responsibilities will include assistance with laboratory management including organizing lab meetings and participating in regular working group meetings as part of grant funded activities.
