This posting is for an analyst who will perform, and supervise others in performing, statistical analyses for a broad range of clinical research studies under the direction of the PI. The three broad research themes that these studies will span are: (1) acute care health services research; (2) large pragmatic trials involving interventions related to palliative care and end-of-life care (3) randomized trials of incentives to promote uptake of health-related behaviors such as advance care planning activities and clinical research participation. This statistician will work closely with a senior statistician as well as with several collaborating faculty members. Duties include assisting a data manager in developing the organization and structure of analytic data sets; performing analyses; teaching students, clinical fellows, and junior faculty to perform their own analyses (e.g., serving as a resource for questions on implementing analyses in statistical software packages); preparing tables and figures for presentations, abstracts, and manuscripts; and contributing to the writing of manuscripts (particularly methods sections) with opportunities for authorship. Candidates must be proficient in STATA; experience using R would be a plus.
