Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP), Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions, is hiring per diem faculty to teach or co-teach courses in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree Program.
Minimum Education and Experience:
ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Teaches undergraduate courses in content areas related to the preparation of Occupational Therapy Assistants.
2.Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
3.Performs other related duties as assigned.
1.Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers' regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree awarded by an institution that is accredited by a regional or national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of education. Master's degree preferred.
Certified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant that is licensed in New Jersey or eligible to become licensed
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Per diem faculty must be able to devote at least 8 hours per week to onsite teaching activities, class preparation and grading.
