Research Assistant -Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center
This position supports the survivorship research activities of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center - Cancer Prevention and Control Program. The position is associated with several grants that focus on cancer prevention and control and health services research, with a focus on cancer survivorship. The position involves the completion of general research-related tasks such as assisting with IRB, consenting and interviewing participants, transcribing interviews, coordinating with study sites, database programming and queries, and assisting in manuscripts and grant writing.
Assists with day-to-day management of SRI pilots.
Assists with recruitment, participant tracking, interviews.
Assists the SRI coordinator on IRB processes, drafting documents, database queries.
Assists with projects led by Dr. Potosky and other tasks as requested by the Principal Investigators.
Performs literature searches and assists with grant and manuscript preparation.
Other duties as assigned.
