1. Responsible for coordinating the operational and administrative functions of the FAS Dean's Office and provide executive support to the FAS Dean. 2. Manage FASDO staff in supporting the work of the FAS Dean. Set expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance discussions for staff. 3. Assist the FASDO in the development of strategic goals and determine baseline metrics to measure success. Serve as a liaison with FASDO's senior leadership, chairs, faculty and other administrators to implement the FASDO's goals. Cultivate relationships that are necessary to move the strategic direction of the FASDO forward. 4. Manage the FASDO's communication's process and quickly, efficiently and professionally prepare daily decanal communications, such as letters, remarks, and presentations. 5. Play a key role in fostering collaboration with other offices across the School, including the President's Office, Provost's Office, Office of General Counsel, Office of Institutional Research, as well as across the University. 6. Oversight of the FAS website and serve as the primary point of contact for the FAS Dean's Office distribution lists and Yale Messaging System. 7. Serves as coordinator and executor for a range of internal and external committees. May participate in decisions regarding committee work. Advises panelists on precedents and prior actions. 8. Work with both internal resources and external consultants to lead key initiatives and special projects. 9. Other related duties as assigned.
