Responsible for accessioning specimens or patienttissue materials for testing including packaging specimens or tissue materialsto be sent out to referring laboratory with minimal guidance. Works closelywith all laboratory staff, medical staff, and external customers. Performscustomer service functions including telephone etiquette and basictroubleshooting and problem resolution.
Receives and triages specimens.
Prepares specimens and patient materials for shipping.
Provides general clerical support.
