The successful applicant will work on the project independently and be actively involved in communications with our collaborators. Qualifications include a PhD degree, strong background in cancer cell and molecular biology, great organizational and communication skills and an excellent team player. Background in toxicology, health effects of air pollution and oxidative stress is a plus. Successful candidate will be responsible for preparing airpollutant samples, human lung cancer cell culture, cellular exposure to airpollutants, endpoint assessment, data collection, analysis, organization andpresentation, maintaining all experimental records and manuscript preparation. Endpoint assessment includes cellular oxidative stress, markers of xenobioticactivation and metabolism, inflammatory response and associated signaling pathways, and cancer cell survival and invasion.
A doctorate degree; experience preparing air pollutant samples, human lung cancer cell culture, cellular exposure to air pollutants, endpoint assessment, data collection, analysis, organization and presentation, maintaining all experimental records and manuscript preparation.
