The Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology is seeking applications from candidates for a faculty position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates should employ modern genetic, cellular, molecular, electrophysiological and/or integrative approaches to address questions related to physiology or pathophysiology. We are interested in individuals who apply new and innovative state-of-the-art techniques to address and complement the integrative approaches already ongoing in the department. Priority will be given to candidates with an extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to teaching medical and graduate students. Outstanding candidates in all areas of physiology will be considered, with special consideration given to investigators who will complement existing strengths of the department, which include Cardiovascular, Cardiopulmonary and Renal Physiology. Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D. or other equivalent doctoral degree with relevant postdoctoral experience.
