Job Description: Conduct the Furman Symphonic Winds; coordinate and administer a winds and percussion program at a liberal arts college; support and collaborate with the Director of Athletic Bands; teach basic and advanced conducting; teach courses in music education and supervise student teachers; maintain a record of strong scholarly/artistic activity; serve as the academic advisor to all junior and senior music education majors and music students in the new Master of Arts in Teaching degree; provide service to the university and the greater music education community; other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the candidate's experience and expertise.
