The selected Nurse Midwifery and Dual Women's Health Nurse Midwifery Program Director and Faculty will join our Division of Advanced Nursing Practice. The position will be based in Newark, New Jersey. Rank, track, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and overall accomplishments.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) required.
Current Licensure or eligibility for RN, Nurse Midwifery and/or APN Licensure in New Jersey.
National certification and current clinical experience (including labor and delivery experience) as a nurse midwife.
Administrative experience required.
Experience as a Nurse Midwifery Program Director and/or accreditation preferred.
Dual certification in Nurse Midwifery and Women's Health preferred.
Strong teaching background required.
Candidates with dual women's health and nurse-midwifery certification will be given priority. Preference will also be provided to candidates who demonstrate scholarship (e.g., publications, national presentations, grant funding) and active participation in community and/or professional organizations.
