The Institute of Ophthalmology & Visual Science is seeking an ABO certified/eligible cornea specialist to serve as part-time Clinical Assistant Professor for the Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery Division. Candidate will provide supervision of residents working in this division and in anterior segment surgery; assist in the development of a cornea research program; and provide trauma service coverage.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Board certification in ophthalmology; completion of an approved Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery fellowship; excellent clinical skills; a demonstrated interest in cornea research; and a commitment to resident training.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Board certification and fellowship training in cornea and external disease and refractive surgery. Active NJ license preferred, or eligible to apply for a NJ Medical License. The successful candidate must have experience and a commitment to resident teaching, patient care, and research.
