Essential Functions: Basic research position in the field of neuroscience and visual sciences is available. We are using electrophysiological, morphological, and molecular biological methods to investigate the functions of the retinal neurons. We are looking to hire lab personnel who will conduct patch clamp recordings, immunohistochemistry, and molecular biological studies. Essential Functions Include: Conducting patch clamp recordings from neurons in the mouse retina. Performing intraocular virus injection to mouse eyes.Conducting immunohistochemical study using confocal microscopy.Making experimental solutions, maintenance of chemicals, and set-up with equipment.
Qualifications: Cell biology and animal handling experiences required.PhD and/or equivalent.
