The University of Tennessee at Martin is accepting applications for a part-time (50%) Research Specialist III (Developmental Therapist) with the Infant Stimulation Program. This part-time (50%) position is grant-funded and continuation of employment is dependent upon grant funding. The Developmental Therapist is responsible for providing developmental therapy including on-going developmental assessments to children eligible for Part C (IDEA) services and support for families in a home-based setting.
* Provide developmentally appropriate activities and child specific guidance for a caseload of 10-12 children and families in Northwest Tennessee.
* Maintain and establish relationships with families and other designated service providers including Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS).
* Collect data and enter service logs and contact notes in a state-wide database in a timely manner.
* Attend required meetings, staff training, and conferences as required that will, at times, include overnight travel.
