The successful candidate is a trusted, high integrity, team player who works under the Controller and with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions and to further develop and maintain the University accounting system. Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission and have an interest in transforming lives.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and three-to-five years of general accounting experience; CPA and higher education or other non-profit accounting experience preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Colleague is a plus. Successful candidates must have demonstrated proficiency with general ledger, balance sheets, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and auditing requirements; must possess strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated technology skills, and have the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines.
