The Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Ball State University is accepting applications for an Assistant Director. Responsibilities for this position include; manage faculty activity reporting (BSU FTE workload and Digital Measures Activity Insight) and the instructional cost and productivity benchmark study (Delaware Study), and coordinate responses to college guidebook surveys.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in social sciences, education, business, or related area involving social science research skills from an accredited college or university. At least one year of experience in a university institutional research or similar office carrying out analytic and reporting activities involving faculty members, academic departments and colleges. Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and reporting skills; ability to work effectively with limited supervision; ability to represent the office with numerous constituencies.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with Digital Measures Activity Insight, the National Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity (Delaware Study), faculty activity reporting, and college guidebook surveys. Experience with data visualization/self-service reporting software such as Tableau.
