The Department of Neurology is now recruiting for a Data Scientist in the Specialist series at the Associate or Full rank. The Data Scientist will be responsible for integrating new machine learning approaches to improve closed-loop technology treatments for humans. General responsibilities include building algorithms that power these closed-loop technologies and utilize multimodal biosensing as the input. The Data Scientist will oversee a small team of staff and volunteers in order to accomplish these goals.
Specialists appointed at the Associate rank must possess a Master’s degree or at least fiveyears of research experience
Specialist appointed at the Full rank must possess a PhD or ten or more years of relatedexperience
Significant record of academic accomplishment including published or in-press publications
Ability to demonstrate record of University and/or public service
