The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a fellowship trained Diagnostic Radiologist. Fellowship in Body/Abdominal Imaging/ MSK/MRI is preferred. This position is at the Assistant Professor level, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. There is an excellent mix of clinical pathology with a focus on trauma and hepatobiliary/liver transplant. The successful applicant will also be proficient in the interpretation of musculoskeletal imaging across all modalities including plain film, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound and performing arthrograms. Participation in the general call pool will be expected, which will include emergent body CT, US, MRI and plain films. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about clinical excellence and teaching. Commitment in the education of residents and students is required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
The applicant must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, ABR certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, and a valid New Jersey medical license.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The preferred candidate should have a full spectrum of general diagnostic radiology skills, including experience preforming routine MSK and Body Imaging procedures.
