Essential Functions: Lead a vigorous externally funded vigorous research program in nanotechnology and pharmaceutical chemistry at the chemical biology interface, particularly in our strengths of drug discovery and development, metabolic disease, neurosciences and oncologyProvide teaching in the graduate program, including mentoring and direct supervision of PhD and MS students. Provide teaching in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Provide service to the departmental, college university, profession, and public including serving on committees.
Qualifications: Earned PhD in the pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry or a related discipline, or an MD or equivalent degreeHigh potential to develop a vigorous externally funded research program. Research publications in nanotechnology and pharmaceutical chemistry at the chemical biology interface.High potential to provide effective teaching to both MS/PhD and Doctor of Pharmacy students.
