The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time pediatric pulmonologist to join a busy and productive academic pediatric pulmonology program. This position is offered on the Clinician Educator track at the rank of Instructor through/to Associate Professor. Rank is commensurate with achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
The pulmonary division is an accredited and highly recognized Cystic Fibrosis Center and has comprehensive programs in all aspects of pediatric pulmonary medicine including Asthma, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Habilitation and Sleep Medicine. We enjoy excellent working relationships with other services and practice in a collaborative environment with dedicated nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, social workers, and child life specialists. The pulmonary division actively leads and participates in a myriad of clinical research activities, including those of the Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutic Development Network (TDN) and numerous quality assurance initiatives. Substantial opportunity exists to participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellow physicians in pulmonary medicine. Opportunities to participate and provide mentorship in clinical research are also available.
Qualified candidates will have an MD or DO and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology and have or be eligible for Illinois medical licenses. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
