Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
A laboratory at Harvard Medical School/HHMI developing new technology utilizing nanobodies seeks an experienced research technician. Duties will include the creation of highly complex nanobody cDNA libraries, virus preparations, tissue culture, and basic molecular biology skills. Candidate will be required to collect, process, organize and summarize project data.
This is agrant-funded position for one year with the possibility of renewal.

College background or equivalent work experience, preferably in a related discipline. One or more years of strong molecular biology skills or related experience (relevant coursework may count towards experience).
College degree, with experience in molecular biology and tissue culture, preferred. Self-motivated, reliability, organized, detailed-oriented, good communication skills and the ability to take direction are required. Experience in basic molecular biology, tissue culture, and microscopy are preferred, but not required.
