Summary of Position: State University of New York College at Cortland, Department of Sociology/Anthropology invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position (with possibility of renewal) in Sociology starting in the fall of 2017, contingent upon the availability of funding.
Major Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses such as: research methods, sociological theory, environmental sociology, economic sociology, organizational studies or other courses which complement our current Sociology curriculum. The anticipated teaching load is four courses (two or three preparations) per semester.
Required Qualifications: PhD or ABD in sociology or related discipline required.
