Summary of Position: State University of New York College at Cortland, Department of Sociology/Anthropology invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor position in Sociology starting in the fall of 2016, contingent upon the availability of funding.
Major Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach two or more courses from the following list: environmental sociology, demography, organizational studies, and/or economic sociology. The ability to address other curricular needs in the department, including undergraduate research methods and/or statistical methods is also desirable, as is an interest in coordinating an internship program. The teaching load is four courses (two or three preparations) per semester.
