The assistant director of web marketing is responsible for oversight and implementation of marketing strategies involving digital campaigns, SEO, PPC campaigns, directory management, social and search engine marketing campaigns. Reporting and analytic analysis as well as new plan development will be a necessary job activity. The majority of strategic priorities will focus around marketing tactics for the entire clinical medical enterprise.
This candidate should also be prepared to present to stakeholders, act as a team leader in larger development meetings and meet and direct vendors as needed. Communicating to stakeholders on a daily basis about questions regarding process, procedure and governance will be required.
Manages staff as assigned. Recommends organizational structure, reporting relationships and staffing needs based on goals. Makes hiring, promotional and salary decisions in accordance with university policy. Provides performance appraisals for staff and determines need for disciplinary action.
-A bachelorâs degree, preferably in Computer Science, Web Development or Marketing is required. A Masterâs degree is preferred.
-3+ years experience in a web marketing role
-2+ years experience in a supervisory role
-Programming knowledge in PHP, SQL, HTML and CSS is highly beneficial
-A strong technical knowledge of web methodologies, web servers, web content management systems and search engine optimization
-Experience in using WordPress and MS Office products
-Vendor management, acquisition and negotiation
-A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 30 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
