Job Summary
Seeking a motivated individual to join an immunology/structural biology laboratory in the Division of Biology.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary research team to study anti-influenza antibodies as part of an effort to increase the potency and/or breadth.

This is a temporary full-time position.


Job Duties
Job duties will include molecular biology tasks including cloning (PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA preps, etc.)

Protein purification (affinity and size exclusion chromatography), transfection and maintenance of mammalian cell lines, and maintaining records.

Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications
This position requires a BS in biological related science or equivalent in education, and one or more years of related lab experience. Basic knowledge of working in a biological laboratory.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work in a team environment are required.


Preferred Qualifications
A background in immunology or molecular biology is highly desirable. Previous experience with maintaining mammalian cell culture is also highly desirable.
