The Department of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco has an immediate need for a full time thoracic surgeon at the Assistant level. Candidate must be board eligible or board certified in thoracic surgery. Position will be predominantly based at UCSF and may provide support on the Cardiothoracic Service at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center under a contract in negotiation.
Candidates with experience and proven abilities in all areas of general thoracic surgery including minimally invasive surgery, thoracic transplantation and a strong interest in clicnical outcomes and/or basic research in Thoracic Surgery are encouraged to apply.
